James Coley Announces Retirement

CALLING TIME

Where do you even begin when trying to pay tribute to one of the greatest Pirates players to ever represent our great club. It is with a tinge of sadness but plenty of pride that we announce the retirement of Club Legend James Coley.

Coley came through our Junior ranks before making his Senior debut as a 16 year old in our Centenary year of 2003. Fast forward 20 years and James' list of achievements is longer than some players careers and he stands as one of only four players in our 120 year history to play over 300 games for the club as part of his 350 plus career games.

Don't worry though we'll still be seeing plenty of James around, as in true Coley style he has settled in to a Senior Assistant Coach role as well as Chairing our newly established Values Committee and Past Players Committee.

Please join us in thanking James for his massive contribution to our great club over so many years.

Congratulate him on a wonderful career and wish him all the best with his future 🏴‍☠️🖤
